This is a self-initiated project created to see if I could create a gritty heads-up display. This was largely inspired by Cyberpunk. I wanted to explore whether I could make a HUD more cinematic and eye-catching with varying camera movements.
Using layers, I was able to create a faux 3D effect with glows, opacity and focal depth. Alongside this, scratches on the surface were also added to once again create that gritty and beaten up feel.
